WHAT IS THE AVERAGE PRICE RANGE FOR MATRAI GARMENTS?
The cost for most of the Matrai gowns are between $1800- $4000.
The prices of our gowns differ from style to style and fabrication.
For brides with lowers budget, we can offer lower priced fabrications and more simple designs.
For brides who can afford more, our label offers custom made embroidery and lace with luxurious fabrications.
The taxes and delivery cost are varying from country to country depending on where the location is.

DO YOU HAVE ANY STOCKIST?
No we don’t stock in retail stores. At this stage we prefer our individual style with brides contacting us directly through our website.

Every single beautiful piece is hand crafted in our Sydney based studio in Australia with our highly skilled professional team.
IS THE FIRST CONSULTATION FREE?
Due to our collections and appointments being in high demand we do ask for a $50 fee. However, we often do special promotions for free consultation, please follow our Instagram page for any offers at @matrai_label.
HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT AT MATRAI?
If you would like to book an appointment please email us on email@example.com with your preferred time, date and please let us also know the date of your wedding.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY FIRST APPOINTMENT?
We work closely with our brides to deliver the high quality, perfect gown therefore we do recommend to contact us minimum 8-9 months out from your wedding date. It allows us the timeframe for enough alterations, ordering fabric and production time to delivery the product.
However, if your wedding date is sooner than 6 months, you will need to contact Matrai to discuss your options. Once you have decided on the dress, we make a 50% non refundable deposit.
WHAT IS THE PRODUCTION TIMELINE FOR THE CUSTOM MADE DRESS? HOW MANY FITTINGS WILL I HAVE?
We recommend clients to contacts us minimum 8-9 months before their special day.
The Initial consultation will happen 8-9months prior to your wedding.
During the consultation, the head designer will create a sketch design of your ideas and measurement information will be collected.
We will also give you a pricing guide relevant to your budget and will look at the fabrications for your gown. Once you have decided on the dress, we make a 50% non refundable deposit.
There is going to be 4 fitting appointments every second month afterwards.
At the first fitting, a calico toile will be presented to you, the measurements and fit will be adjusted.
At the following fittings you will try a calico skirt and then the final dress made from the final fabrications which we will adjust accordingly after each appointment.
Lastly, the final pick up will be scheduled no more than 7 days before the event date, unless otherwise agreed upon in certain circumstances.
I AM HOPING TO LOSE A BIT OF A WEIGHT BEFORE MY BIG DAY. WHAT HAPPENS IF I WILL BE A BIT LIGHTER?
Most of our brides are wanting to lose a bit of a weight before their wedding which is not a big problem at all. However, we kindly ask the client to let us know on the initial consultation day so we can ensure the production will go smooth and the dream dress will be perfectly fitted.
CAN I TRY ANY OF YOUR SAMPLES THAT YOU FEATURE ON YOUR WEBSITE?
We do have some sample dresses that we feature on our page, please kindly email us with the gown name of which you are interested in to try.
CAN YOU ALTER THE DESIGN I ORDER FROM YOUR WEBSITE?
Due to the high production demand we are unable to customise or alter our designs that you order through our website unless it is custom made. However, they are very easy to alter by professional seamstresses if you would like it to be a bit more fitted.
HOW CAN I CHOOSE THE FABRIC FOR MY GOWN? DO YOU HAVE SAMPLE FABRICS?
Our reputation is exceptional, which includes the various fabric range we have in our studio. We are known for high quality manufactured beaded laces, embroidered fabrics and custom made embroidery.
We stock 120 fabrics carefully selecting the highest quality fabrics, from worldwide. Our exquisite laces are sourced from Italy and France.
We pride ourselves on delivering the best service to choose the perfect fabrications with you to your gown in our studio.
DO YOU DO CUSTOM MADE BRIDESMAIDS DRESSES?
We do make bridesmaids dresses. Please let us know on your initial consultation date or in advance if you want to custom make bridesmaids dresses. For further information please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
CAN I BRING A FRIEND TO MY APPOINTMENTS?
We advise a maximum of 2 people attend with the bride for the first appointment.
WHAT DO I HAVE TO BRING TO MY APPOINTMENTS?
To your appointments please bring accompanying shoes, under garments and shape-wear you intend to be wear for your event.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF I AM LATE FROM ANY APPOINTMENT??
Please let us know 24 hours in advance if you won’t be able to make your appointment, otherwise additional fitting
charges may apply.
If you are late by 5-10 minutes, that is acceptable.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY WEDDING IS WITHIN UP TO 3MONTHS AND I NEED A DRESS NOW?
We have some sample dresses in our stock which is available to be purchased, however for custom made dresses we do recommend a minimum of 7-8 months prior to the event. Please email us to see if we can do a custom made dress within your time frame.
DO YOU MAKE INTERNATIONAL ORDERS AS WELL?
We do make international custom-made dresses but it will have to be arranged over skype and emails.
We also sell some of our signature dresses from our website, please email us if you would like to buy any of them.
HOW DO I TAKE MY MEASUREMENTS?
If you would like to clarify how to take measurements, we can send you a reference guide via email.
HOW DO I KNOW HOW MUCH THE SHIPPING COST?
The shipping cost vary from country to country and from city to city. Our shipping cost is minimal, we use Australian Post Delivery service where we offer online tracking. We will send you a final invoice with the shipping cost via email after you inquired a dress.
